its all about using the write bait at the write time of year and wot other species are present, for example. if your venue contains a high stocking density of bream the use of particle or pellet can be disastrous! as some of you may have experienced first hand. another example........using oily or crappy fishmeal based baits are a big no no in the colder months....why...cuz they congeal, i.e dnt brake down quick enough so the fish cnt digest them very well at all...nt gud! i suggest using a quality fishmeal based bait, my fave is vision ltm94, caught me alot of fish this year, Evan in the colder months, get in, in large quantities and keep it going in all through the year, just that, nout else, and reap the rewards, if any of you dnt beleive me then try it.
