NEW BRIDGE LAKE

hey every one im new to this fourm, im ryan and 13 m posting about NEW BRIDGE LAKE which is a great place to fish i go nearly every week and ive got my first ever match there on bank holiday monday, i found this description of it on internet cause i dont know much of the lakes! Newbridge Lakes, Burstwick.
This is an excellent water that you can find out towards the East Coast. Recently developed the complex now boasts 3 very picturesque lakes, especially the larger tree lined lake after which the complex is named. The water has benefited recently with disabled access being improved, the pegs are well thought out offering platformed areas to fish from. There is sufficient parking and also onsite toilets.
The first water that you will see upon entering the venue is the 7 acre Newbridge Lake. It has a small island at one end, and this is the deepest part of the lake with over 20 ft of water. This does make a popular area during the colder winter months. Most places throughout the lake will see you having between 8 and 10 ft of water in front of you. There are big carp in the water approaching 30lb, but it is the large bream shoals that seem to get the attention of most anglers. The largest bream out so far topped 14lb. tench and eels are present both reaching a top weight of 7lbs. Large perch run to 3 1/2 lb, with roach (3lbs) rudd (2 1/2lbs), crucians (2lb) and the odd chub (1lb) to make up the rest of the stock.
New waters have been dug and opened this year (2005), both less than an acre in size and offering an island to target, the waters named Hariff and Skeckling ponds, have been stocked with carp, tench (both green and golden), bream, roach, chub and perch. Most are less than 2lbs in weight and are perfect for those anglers new to the sport that wish to hone their striking skills.
Day tickets £4.00 extra rod £1.00, Under 16's, OAPS and registered disabled £3.00. Fishing is from dawn until dusk only, barbless hooks only.
